Description
🎯 Objective
The Municipality of Imperia encourages the initiative of its citizens, organized into groups or associations, to carry out activities of particular importance for the entire community.
To achieve this goal, the Municipality of Imperia avails itself, among other things, of the institution of patronage.
📌 Definition
Patronage is a demonstration of appreciation, adhesion, and support for non-profit initiatives deemed worthy for their objectives in the following fields:
- social;
- cultural;
- sports and recreational;
- tourist.
The initiatives must be significant and of interest to the City of Imperia and pursue the objectives of municipal action indicated in Article 6 of the Statute of the City of Imperia.
Sponsorship can be requested by legal entities, institutions, associations, committees, and foundations.
Patronage is granted by the Municipal Council of Imperia, following an investigation by the Mayor's Office.
✅ Granting of patronage
The granting of sponsorship allows the applicant to:
- the mention of the City of Imperia;
- the reproduction of the civic coat of arms, in a primary and central position, on printed material and on any other visual support relating to the sponsored initiative;
- the 50% tariff reduction on advertising tax and billboard rights.
⚠️ Disclaimer
Granting patronage does not entail the provision of contributions or participation in the initiative's organizational costs, unless a separate granting procedure is initiated.
The granting of patronage does not imply any liability for the Municipality of Imperia in connection with the sponsored event, either towards the organizers, the public, or third parties.
