On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic Day, the Prefecture, the Province, and the City of Imperia invite all citizens to participate in the official celebrations that will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Celebrations Program

• 9:30 AM | Piazza della Vittoria: Laying of the laurel wreath at the War Memorial.

• 10:00 a.m. | Calata Cuneo Opening of the Institutional Ceremony, which will include the following moments:

  • Prefect's review of the deployed departments;

  • Flag Raising Ceremony;

  • Reading of the official message from the President of the Republic;

  • Speech by the Prefect of the Province of Imperia;

  • Awarding of the Gold Medal to a Victim of Terrorism;

  • Award ceremony for the "Merit of the Italian Republic" honors;

  • Musical accompaniment by the "Colle di Nava" Alpine Band.

  • 6:30 PM | Banchina Aicardi Concert performance by the "Borghetto San Nicolò" Music Band - City of Bordighera, concluding the day of celebration.
