In Imperia, in Borgo Prino , facing the sea and its little beaches , there is the “Angelo Lagorio” athletics field .

It's a beautiful field equipped with approved athletics equipment , a track , and stands where you can watch the competitions. The area is open to everyone, both in summer and winter . Training sessions and competitions can be organized there, not only for competitive athletes but also for individuals who want to train and cultivate their passion for the sport, or for those who, on vacation, want to stay fit .

During the winter and spring, the field is also open to schools for tournaments, competitions, and awards ceremonies.

The young athlete Davide Re , the Italian champion , also trained at the “Angelo Lagorio” athletics field. He took part in the World Athletics Championships and, in 2019, set the national record in the 400 metres , breaking the 45-second barrier, and became the first Italian to win the 400 metres in the European team championships .
